It’s the year 1989.
The love of your life just left you and you’re sitting in front of your computer in your small apartment.
Cigarette smoke fills the room.
You put a tape in your cassette player.
It’s the mixtape you once made to celebrate your love.
Once it made you feel happy.
Now all you feel is sadness.

"This album started without an idea when 385North sent me some of his songs to play around with.
I didn’t know in where we would end up.
It slowly become this strange mixture of synthwave, vaporwave and sad Trent Reznor quotes.
One day when I stood on my bathroom the word 'cybersad popped up in my head and I immediately liked the sound and feel of it.
It’s just sad. It’s just as sad as life tends to be.
The cover art is an homage to the first nine inch nails album 'pretty hate machine' and even though it’s pretty empty, I think it hit the right spot."
