for this album I tried to make a sequel to „unknown displeasures“ but create something unique at the same time. in the end it’s just some songs with reznor quotes from a lot of different interviews.
the last months were strange for all of us. as a nurse I’ve seen good and bad developments and was thinking about this album a lot and it took me quite a while to make it. I was even thinking about quitting music. it comes and goes. I know myself good enough to ignore these thoughts. if there’ll be new material (interviews etc.) I’d be happy to buy the rights to some songs and create the next strange album for you.
over the past years I listened to endless hours of interviews with trent and I gathered a lot of quotes. I think there isn’t much more to discover and use for me.
if you listened to my previous albums you may recognize some of them. anyway. So maybe these will be the last album for a while but reznorwave isn’t dead (even though my instagram channel became a nine inch nails meme channel with some vaporwave pics from time to time) and I’d love to create new stuff sometimes in the future. I like to create these strange songs with reznor quotes as long as someone’s liking it. I hope you enjoy it.

on this album you’ll find the song „fuckchop“ and I want to tell you why it’s named this way.
a while ago I read that reznor had a cat and its name was Fuckchop. I posted the page from that book on IG and tagged 猫シ Corp. because I knew we had to do this together…cat[systemcorp.] and reznor[wave]…and so we finally did it. and of course I had to call my buddy 385North to join me on this album since we did a lot of collabs and became friends over the last years. glad to have you on board.
